Events and workshops
SORRY, THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT
Join us for a fragrant, home cooked Indian meal and talk at Choppards Mission.
The supper will celebrate the flavours of the region and use Fairtrade spices and locally-grown vegetables. The meal is being cooked by Fair Trader members, inspired by the recipes of Madhur Jaffrey. There will be Indian music from Vijay Venkat. For one evening only, we hope to bring the vibrant colours, sounds and subtle flavours of northern Indian cooking to the Pennine hamlet of Choppards!
Indian hampers, accessories and gifts will also be available to purchase. The perfect Christmas present idea!
Proceeds will be used to establish trade with a women’s co-operative outside Jaipur; they produce stunning hand-printed and embroidered textiles. The co-operative finds work for women of all skill levels, and provides training, support and health care.
Entry to the event is by pre-paid ticket only
